Wild and Free

Garden Reflections

We freed these early flowers, once smothered from sight. 🆓

Asparagus awakens, now reaching for light. 🖐🏼

Here comes comfrey, dancing in green. 💃🏼

Our spinach stands strong — Popeye would glean. ⛵

“More winter?” I say — kale, no! ❄️

Blueberries bud like a falling star show. ✨

Blackberries creep, brambling near. 🌹

Garlic grabs hold, bold and clear. 🧄

They say it’s almost thyme for spring. 🌿

But winter still leaves its prickly sting. 🌵

Yet we chive on, steady and true. 🧅

Earth gives sage advice, ancient and new. 🌍

She whispers of care, of bounty, of grace. 🍓

All things are made, and none go to waste🗑️

So I feel like a dandy lion, bold and bright, 🦁

Ready to enjoy the new season in sight. 🎇
