Wild and Free
Garden Reflections
We freed these early flowers, once smothered from sight. π
Asparagus awakens, now reaching for light. ππΌ
Here comes comfrey, dancing in green. ππΌ
Our spinach stands strong β Popeye would glean. β΅
βMore winter?β I say β kale, no! βοΈ
Blueberries bud like a falling star show. β¨
Blackberries creep, brambling near. πΉ
Garlic grabs hold, bold and clear. π§
They say itβs almost thyme for spring. πΏ
But winter still leaves its prickly sting. π΅
Yet we chive on, steady and true. π§
Earth gives sage advice, ancient and new. π
She whispers of care, of bounty, of grace. π
All things are made, and none go to wasteποΈ
So I feel like a dandy lion, bold and bright, π¦
Ready to enjoy the new season in sight. π
